  • Sister's boyfriend in moto accident

Please remember my sister's boyfriend in your prayers. His name is Tony (do remember last name.) Monday he was riding his other brand bike in Athens when a car pull in front of him.
He has a broken neck, four broken ribs, a collapsed lung and a small spot of blood on his brain (I am surprised he has a brain considering he is going with my sister. ) He is presently in ICU at HSV hospital. Needless to say he is in fairly rough shape. Good news is that he has movement in all of his limbs. He doesn't remember the accident (probably a good thing), but he does realize he is in the hospital. Word is he may move to a room tomorrow or Friday.
    Thank you,

    Gary

Yesterday, my sister said he was doing better and said he wanted to go home. She thinks he may be moved to a room today.

            Thanks,

Just got back from visiting Tony in the hospital. he really is doing well. Thankfully he has full movement in his limbs and is moving his head around. Still has fluid on his lungs. Told me yesterday evening was the first time he remembered anything since leaving the house Monday.
Thank you for your thoughtfulness and prayers.

Well that is good news !! He may be foggy for a while. Ask Vance !! But at least no long term damage is apparent.
                        Thanks for updating us.

Was told today that Tony was back in ICU. Apparently the fluid on his lungs turned to pus and a staph infection has developed from that. So your prayers will again be appreciated.

I intend to go to the hospital tomorrow and check on him. Will provide and update.

Really sorry to hear that. His condition sounds very serious. I'll add him to a prayer line I belong to here.

Went to visit Tony today. They have taken him off the vent and were just sitting him up for the first time. Quite frankly, he really looks bad. Looks like he has lost about 20 lbs. since I saw him last Friday. He was very disorient which I guess is to be expected.
