Hi Jim.
Yes, she had successful surgery, and as it stands now, will be able to go home tomorrow. I haven't talked to Polly yet, but will, and hopefully she will post more details.

Connie was a big inspiration for me years ago to start riding my own bike. She is tough and one of kind, for sure. Hope she recovers quickly.Gail

to me
Hey Bob:
I don't think I have a password for the forum, so I will fill you in and let you post it, if that is OK.
CONNIE came through her surgery just fine. Things are looking up now. She came home Saturday afternoon, and the main problem now is headaches. She still has some pain from the surgery, but is able to get up and move around some. She has to see th DR again in three weeks, so just keep praying that she will continue the healing.
Thanks to all of you for your concern and caring.

Wow, thanks for all the good wishes. Surgery went well Friday, but I was very sick Saturday and almost didnt get to go home, I had a severe headache and cramps all day Saturday and most of Sunday, but it's all settled down now and I am feeling pretty good.
The radiation hole inside is repaired and should be completely healed in about 6 weeks. Then I can get my last repair surgery done. The best news was those 18 to 20 hour gall bladder attacks I was going through all year through all the rest of the stuff too, were apparently helpful (weird). The third surgery was going to be having the gall bladder out. Last years scan showed it full of stones. This years scan showed clear. My surgeon said that those severe attacks were probably emptying stones that were fortunately small enough not to rupture anything. So all those hours in pain actually came to good. I didnt know that could happen so I was completely surprised and ecstatic that it did. So only one more surgery to get through. Happy Happy Happy
