We ok, however water will be in the house within an hour I'm guessing. Water to high to get out on our own. Hoping to get some assistance.

Yes Bob , we are good here. Lots of rain here, about 11 to 12 inches here but a lot less than around Baton Rouge. Mike & Amelia Bauman have water in their house and had to be evacuated to a center and now the evacuation center is getting flooded so they are having a rough time

Still raining and forecast for more to come. We should be OK since we live on Bayou Lafourche and the water level is still about 15’ below anything that would cause flooding here. We have never even come close to flooding where we live but we’re still praying for the rain to stop. Thanks for your thoughts and concern Bob.

Phillip and I are praying for our Cajun members and residents in the Louisiana area due to all the flooding and hope there isn't much damage to their homes.

      to me
Thanks Bob. They seem to be in good spirits.
They started getting water in the house last night so they were evacuated after midnight to an evacuation center. Now they are waiting to be evacuated again as this center has now flooded. May take a couple of days after the rain stops for them to get back to their house.

We’re find, but Mike and Amelia Bauman are not. They had to be evacuated from their home last night as water began entering their home. Mike said that as of last night they had gotten 27 in of rain.

Talked to mike yesterday. They are on the 6th floor of a hotel in Baton Rouge. They are in good spirits and just waiting to get to the house as soon as possible to assess the damage. Told mike if he needs any assistance to give me a call and we will be there. Will try and give updates as we get them. Keep all our Cajon folks in your thoughts and prayers.

                to me
                Good morning Bob,
Everything below 2 ft is lost. Couches, beds, carpet, appliances, all paneling, all lower cabinets in kitchen, and both bathrooms.
Now some good news with most of the debris outside to the road the house does smell better.
A long ways to go but, with the help we are getting we will get there.
                Be safe
