THURSDAY 1PM
Just got an email from John Zibell. Glen is back. John went to see Bob today around noon. Bob was unresponsive and his breathing seemed labored <big, sad sigh>. I fear it won't be much longer.
WEDNESDAY
Bob had the hiccups most the day. It cut into his napping time. And of course it affected his eating, of which he is doing less and less.
David felt that yesterday was a step down from Tuesday. Bob's Hospice nurse, December, also felt that Bob was slipping. Glen decided to come back early (he wasn't due to get back until the 9th).
TUESDAY
We had a great time Tuesday nite with Bob, David, Dunbar and myself. Can you say, "Hold the wax"? Even though Bob couldn't engage in a long conversation, he was alert, coherent and laughing. We really wore him out, but he said "it was great".
