  • Torn rotator cuff

It was confirmed by an MRI that Suzi has a torn rotator cuff in her right shoulder and will have surgury in the near future. We are excited (at least I am) that she will soon be able to ride her bike again. Please keep her in your prayers.

    Suzi,
I sure hope they get you repaired right. It looks to me as if Jim is lost without a fully functioning wife.
You will be in our prayers.

Sorry to hear that Suzi. I went through it myself about three years ago and my shoulder was much better for it. Just be sure and do the physical therapy.

            Suzi,
Sorry to hear about your injury. I'll pray for a successful operation and a quick recovery.
The PT is crucial to a good recovery. It can be painful, but your a strong Lady and will be able to do it, especially with Jim by your side you can make it through.

Take care and Jim you pamper your little Lady through her recovery.

That must hurt !! I hope you get all healed up quickly with no after effects. Guess you'll have to give up the "lumberjack" duties. (grin)

                  Rotator cuff repaired

Thank you all for your prayers concerning Suzi's surgury. It was done this morning in Huntsville and we are very happy with the results (we got pictures) and we are convinced that she will be back to normal (and back on her bike) in the new year. In the mean time she will have a recovery period that makes it hard to make the meetings untill maybe the Christmas party. We want you all to know that we treasure your friendship and are looking forward to a great riding season next year.

Hope you guys found the answer. Tell Suzi to remember that ICE IS HER FRIEND - about 10 minutes every few hours, even after PT (per Dr's ok). Sending thoughts of healing...
