Fall Color Classic BMW Ride in NE Alabama

Here are some photos of our Northeast Alabama Fall Color Classic Bike Ride. After short notice that it was time to ride and knowing that it was going to be a rainy day Tuesday October 27th, Tommy Arnold, Phillip Warren, Steve Hebert and I met at Tommy and Jeannine's home in Scottsboro to ride ABEES favorite ride # NE7. Ride #NE7 took us on the best of the best roads in northeast Alabama.

Monday, October 26, was a great day to ride to Scottsboro. Wednesday's weather was also excellent for our second day's ride and our ride home. However, Tuesday was a bit damp to say the least especially at the end of the day when a strong cold front moved through while we were on top of Lookout Mountain.

Well after we returned to the Arnold's warm abode and having a few adult beverages, Phillip said we were "dumb asses". But he had a big smile on his face .

Fall Classic BMW ride

Well I'm not sorry I didn't show up but I will have to say that if I did I would have agreed with Phillip. It was pouring rain when I got up so I went back to bed. On the other hand, the previous day was perfect and not just because it was our 30th anniversary. Suz and I rode to High Falls in Dekalb County and High Falls in Jackson County for 2 ABEES points and some good pictures. (attached)
