I had a sales call to make in Dog Town on Friday and thought it a good excuse to ride the bike and get some ABEES points.
Left the house early and took Shelby 26, State 25, US 231 to Pell City. 1st ABEES point: St Clair County Court House. Up 231, Cty 33 to John Looney House.
Then back roads and I 59, 68, US 11, Cty 81 to Dog Town and a sale. Then Lookout Mtn Parkway to Sally Howard Memorial Chapel, DeSoto Falls, and lunch at Dessies Kountry Kitchen in Mentone.
Next down to Ft Payne and DeKalb County Court House and Alabama Fan Club Museum. Over to Rainsville and another successful sales call.
I just recently got a Streetpilot 2720 and this my first ride with it. What a great thing to have. After this sales call I set the GPS to home on the shortest route. I found some good roads that I never knew that existed.
Found one more ABEES on the way home: St Clair County Court House in Asheville.
A good day riding and a good day of sales.
