  • Gary is making it hard

Seems Gary is out to get the most POI's. 14 POI's and 448 miles in one day. That's impressive.

It took me 3 days and 893 miles to get 14 points this week.

Here are some pictures of the week.

You have done it again Martin. Excellent photos and captions. Its like watching a travel channel film viewing your slide show.

The coordinates are correct for the falls in Wetumpla and Tallesee. Damns on the rivers have hidden the actual falls. Same goes for the historical falls in Tuscaloosa.

I noticed you went through Tuskegee. Did you stop at the Tuskegee Airmen's Museum and Tuskegee Campus and George Washington Carver Museum. If not, next time you go through there, be sure to stop. Tuskegee has one of the more beautiful campuses in the state and the museums are excellent.

Bob, thanks for the kind words.

I did go through Tuskegee back in January. See pictures at http://picasaweb.google.com/smoothnaturals/Jan28292008

Dang Martin, it sure is hard to close the gap on you, I get 14 and you match me. The reason it took you two days and 800+ miles is that you are making a living out of this. All I'm doing is burning good money that seems to be getting thin.
My advice to you, if you really want to get some POI, is to chuck the furniture business and just go out and ride. Give the rest of us an equal playing field and quit using the ABEES as a tax write-off. Really, I enjoyed your photos. Especially the ones around Ft. Mitchell.
