Sunday afternoon ride around the Bankhead National Forestry Roads and stop at some ABEES places... did the ride on the 33 thru Forestry and about 30 miles of gravel roads from near Haleyville to Moulton... had four deer to cross my path too...

Hwy 33 thru Bankhead National Forest
Had lunch at Natural Bridge Restaurant
Stopped at Natural Bridge and made the tour
    Whitehouse Church of Christ
    Double Springs Courthouse
    Dual Destiny
    Brilliant United Methodist Church

Couldn't find BEE Branch, but came close to it, found the creek and crossed the bridge... Used the GPS waypoints..

Had good visit with Bob Woodward (Atlanta BMW owner), he was returning form IBA Tulsa meeting and we crossed paths at Corridor X and 129...

      Hey Don.

Looks like you had a good ride around your neck of the woods. Cr 33 through the Bankhead is a great road to ride for sure. Every time I visit the Dual Destiny Statue in Double Springs, I well up a bit. It is un-imaginable what the folks in Winston County during the early to mid 1860s went through with family members battling their own Fathers, Brothers, Uncles and Cousins. That statue along with the plaque really makes you realize what they must have endured.

Hope you get you 20 checkoffs. Bryson's Olympia riding jacket is a great prize and the odds are good to win it. It only takes one ticket.
