Hello Alabeemers.
Here are some photos taken during our Club ABEES ride and tour to Blue Springs via Montgomery. All of us had a great time and learned a lot about Alabama's history.
Look closely at the Civil Rights Memorial photos. At first glance, it looks like highly polished granite, but there is a film of water flowing over its top surface then as it flows over the edge, it clings to the under surface of the funnel shaped pedestal as it flows back to the reservoir. There is not even a drop of water that falls to the ground. This fountain, as well as the Civil Rights Memorial and the other sights in and around our State Capital should not be missed. Take a look at your Touring Guide, select your sights and eateries, and favorite roads and rides and go exploring. You will be very surprised at what this great State has to offer.
