I took my yearly ride on Hwy 33, Wilderness Parkway, through the Bankhead Forest. Not much color this year. The road to Brushy Lake has been "repaired" with fresh gravel. I turned around since I had my wife and was on the LT.
Hi Janke...I don't know if the extra dry summer has much to do with the leaves but we have just gotten in from Chattanooga and there did not seem to be the normal color up that way either. However the weather was primo!!

I spotted a few red trees in Little River Canyon on the 16th. You would think with the lack of rain the colors would come in early rather than later. The weather, as you said, certainly has been good though.
