Hey Alabeemer GSers.
Here is a post from Lee W that is on the Nashville Club's website. Looks like he and Ben would fit in well with our Waterloo mermaids.

Ben Bailey and myself met up on the Trace Friday mourning to head down to Lawrence Co to intersect with the Trans-American Trail. Shortly into Wayne Co there are a series of creeks to cross on Double Branch Road. Ben and I rode this section back in the spring with successful crossings. The first time last summer I went solo and ended up slammed down in the middle of the creek and couldn't pick up the Airhead GS . I had to wait for someone to come down the road to help. This weekend however was the creeks turn again. I went first choosing what I thought to be an advantatious route but instantly was down. Before I could stand up there was Ben's 95 oilhead GS sliding up beside me on it's side. This crossing is amazingly slick. It's slicker than slick. It's like ice, snot rock they call it. After you fall you can't get any traction with your feet to pick up the bikes. We finnally managed to get up and out of the water reallizing we didn't get a photo of the two bikes laying side by side in the middle of the creek. If anybody has a stragedy for getting to the other side of this type of solid rock bottom creek, please let me know. After a great laugh session, we motored on without incedent.. We made it to the Rally in about 5 1/2 hours. Beautiful scenery and no traffic. Is there a spell check Steve?
