  • More Work and Riding

Tuesday's appointments in Alex City, Auburn and Dadeville gave me an opportunity to get some ABEES points.
Early stop at Calera at the railroad museum and then to Clanton for the Chilton County Court House. Hwy 22 to Alex City.
Toomers is a great place for lunch and a lemonade. And who can not find Auburn University a lovely place.
Opelika is home to Lee County and the Museum of East Alabama. A good museum of things of interest of the area.
Left Opelika of Hwy 14 over to 49 and back up to Dadeville. Great road.

Today's sales calls were in Warrior, Cullman and Oneonta. ABEES points were 4 covered bridges, 2 court houses and a lunch at the "All Steak" in Cullman.

I am leaving Sunday AM for the MOA national rally. Will be going up through Michigan and around Lake Michigan. Want to experience going over the Mackinaw Bridge.

    See you there.

Have a safe trip and we'll see you in West Bend. I have been over that bridge albeit in the cage about 20 years ago. If you have time, stop in Mackinaw City at the south end of the bridge. There is a small museum there on the second floor of a store on main street that chronicles the building of the bridge. It has been a LONG time since I was there but it was a great place and well worth the time. Check it out! See you at the rally!

      Hi Martin.

Great tour. I have seen some of the bridges in Cullman county, but not all. You have encouraged me to make a covered bridge run. Thanks for the inspiration.
