Volunteers are needed to help man the BMWMOAL Club Display Tent on Oct. 8-10, 2010, at The Barber Vintage Festival in Leeds, AL
http://barbervintagefestival.org/
The 6th Annual Barber Vintage Festival will be held the weekend of October 8-10, 2010.
The Barber Vintage Festival is a great way to celebrate the motorcycle and the motorcycle enthusiasm that we all share. The festival offers access to motorcycles and the legends that made the sport what it is today. Also available is the motorcycle parts swap meet that can help you locate that part needed to get your latest project back on the road. Several special programs take place in the museum during this event.

... Even though we will be manning our BMWMOAL Display Tent, - ALL BMWMOAL Volunteers will still be required to purchase admission to the event. 3-Day admission is $35. until 8 Oct. when the price goes up to $45.; 1-Day passes are $20. until 8 Oct. when the price goes up to $25.
The more club members that volunteer to help out reduces the time needed for each member to man the tent. ALSO, the more club members that show up means that we will all have a bigger party with each other.
We also need a few restored vintage BMW's to display. I don't know who in our club has what, but we would like to get at least one really old 1920's-1930's BMW, and one from the 1940's-1950s, and an early 1980's GS to lead up to the new S1000RR that has been offered.
Sign-up here if you're interested in helping out.
Thanks,
Rodger
