You can book online or call the dealership to get in on this unique opportunity. I hope to see you there!
PANDORA’S SWEET 1600 FUNDRAISER EVENT
The Austin Hatcher Foundation helps families overcome childhood cancer by financing research and treatment developments, awareness programs, diversionary therapies, and the many unforeseeable costs a family endures. Jim Osborn is a local surgeon and Founder of the organization. Not only does he have a passion and commitment to this cause, but he is also an avid BMW Rider.
The K1600GT will be a technological game changing motorcycle. With that in mind we are fully leveraging our relationships at BMW Corporate to ensure that this bike will be given a befitting customer launch. We have leased out the Chattanooga Aquarium as well as the IMAX Theater the evening of January 22nd for a semi-formal, fully catered pre-launch party with an expected attendance to be over 150 guests. Proceeds of the event will go directly to the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Research. A short conspectus of the evening is as follows:
•Fully catered Hors D’oeuvres in the Ocean Journey Aquarium with open bar and access to all wildlife exhibits….dinner will be following in the IMAX banquet room
•A Technical presentation from BMW North America Representatives covering key chassis, electrical, drive train, and power train technologies deployed in the new models- on the IMAX screen
•One complimentary weekend package will be given away which includes a BMW GTL Demo bike and lodging accommodations at a to-be-announced motorcycle resort in the Smokey Mountains (to be redeemed in April)
•The first thirty customers to reserve their BMW K1600 motorcycles will receive custom embroidered sweaters, only available through this program. There is no cost to reserving your K1600 motorcycle. This commitment reserves your VIN. Note stocking bikes will not be available until as late as October 2011, a strong pre-sell campaign ensures will get their bikes by April 2011.
•The Mayor of Chattanooga, Claude Ramsey, is also on the invite list
•BMW North America Representatives will be on site for Q&A regarding the new models
•BMW MOA Media Editor Vince Winkel will be on hand to discuss MOA news and planned events
•BMW MOA Director Vance Harrelson will be in attendance to discuss his vision for Regional BMW Clubs and MOA future events
•MOA Giveaway R1200 GSA 30YR edition will be on site along with raffle tickets
•The SMART TRAINER Rider Training Simulator will be on hand to grade your riding reflex safety skills, compliments of the BMW MOA
•At least one, possibly two bad jokes…compliments of John Prann
•An official check of the proceeds will be presented to Jim Osborn the founder of the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Research
We have more surprises planned for the evening as BMW is fully supportive in our effort to not only introduce new customers to the brands but also empower existing enthusiasts and owners with a sneak peek at the cutting edge technology to be deployed in these machines.
Expect to see BMW Riders Club members from all over the country, with heavy attendance from the Chattanooga, Alabama, Knoxville, Georgia, and Nashville Chapters! We are also expecting heavy attendance from HOG Chapters as well as Goldwing Clubs.
Tickets are $100 per person. Registration can be achieved either through ‘Featured Events’ on pandorasmotorsports.com or simply by calling the shop and registering. A detailed itinerary, tickets, area maps, and local hotel options will be mailed to you upon confirmation.
