    March Moto Madness

    For those of you who decided not to go to MMM, you sure missed it. We had a great time. Arrived on Thursday and set up the Compound. Jim, Tim Flynn and me. Put 300 miles on Big Red. Did the Dragon with nobbies and found the Dirt Dragon or Dragon in the Rough as I called it. Lots of new friends and stories around the fire. More pictures later.

    I'm guessing you're talking about the Dragon of hwy 129 in N.C. ?
    If so, can you identify this so called "Dirt Dragon" ?
    Maybe a map or something.....

        Hey all,we had a great time. Great food and great comraderie with new found friends. Definetely will do this next year again. Here are a few pics

            There is a stretch of rock/gravel road Northwest out of Andrews (South on 129 from the Dragon and South on Hwy 19, turn right at the Huddle House), I believe it's Beaver creek. It also is 11 miles long and has a bunch of twisties in it, I'm guessing 290+ (rough count on Map Source 297). About half way through it I noted to myself it was like the Dragon in the rough. Locals called it the dirt Dragon. Either way it was fun on the GS. I was running nobbies but others ran on their Tourances with no problem.

              Looks like y'all had a fun weekend. Where was the campground? Great pics Jim. That's the most water I've seen coming over Bald River Falls(looks like Bald River if it's not). Might try to make that ride in the future.
