MOA Rally - Bloomsburg, PA

Thought I would get this going and see who is planning to attend. The MOA Rally this year will be held in Bloomsburg, PA. this is a great fariground with lots of room for camping. This will likely be the largest rally in terms of attendance with well over 10,000 attendees expected!

The planning has been underway for over a year now and I believe this is going to be a really good time!

We are planning on it but can't get in until Friday. I'm working in AR until Thursday morning. Is anyone going to camp in the campground? Thought we could put up the clubs banner and have a base camp.

I wish I could make this one. Sounds like a great location. I was surprised with the roads through PA in that area when I rode my LT back from VT several years ago. Also a little bit more west when Krista and I did our daddy-daughter ride in 2007 on the way back from VT. We took route 6 across the top of the state and then headed to the "Grand Canyon" of PA and to FLT 93 memorial. Of course most of you remember how that day ended, for others - hit by a drunk but little more than a scratch and bruise for both of us! Be careful if you wander into West VA and back up in them thar woods.

My brother Tim is riding his R60/5 this time and will be camping at "Mayberry" with Sherpa Ted. I guess Russ and Jim will be his neighbors for this event. Look for an airhead (bike that is) the same color as mine but with a toaster tank. No fairing.

Matha & I are on our way. We spent this last week in Michigan U.P., crossing southern Canada tomorrow to Niagara Falls for a few days and then south to Bloomsburg. Be there probably on Sunday the 17th. See you there.
