Vech's annual vintage rally

Well the weather didn't cooperate on Friday so Bob, Gary and I rode over to Sturgis on Saturday for Vech's rally. The bad weather on Friday kept attendance down somewhat but there were still lots of old airheads in attendance. Even lots of old bikes. There were some Alabeemers there besides us including Paul and Gail and Erik. About thirty of us rode into Ackerman for dinner and ate too much but it was still not enough calories to keep me warm when the dew and frost fell on us during the night. On Sunday Paul Thorne took us to Christies in Columbus for "the best burger in Mississippi". It lived up to it's reputation. Here's a few pics from Saturday.

Jim, Thanks for the photos and great write-up. Really enjoyed riding and hanging out with you and Bob. I think you could say there was too much food and too little heat !
