Located atop Monteagle Mountain on the outskirts of town, Laurel Trails Campground is an expansive camping area that offers fully developed campsites and RV hookup sites. Tent sites are scattered throughout the property, some deep into the wooded areas and others lining the shores of the campground's two-acre private lake. The sites are well-cleared and feature large flat areas for setting up a tent of any size. RV sites feature full utility hookups and are large enough for any sized vehicle to pull through. Several bath and shower houses are available to all campers, and provide hot water, showers and more. The campground has several hiking trails created through the woods and circling the lake area. The lake is well-stocked with fish and allows fishing, boating and swimming. Campers also can prepare large meals in a screened-in cookhouse centrally located among the campsites. The campground allows vehicles of all types, including ATVs and motorcycles and has WiFi internet access.
