Visiting Bama next week

I'll be in Decatur next week visiting family. I was wondering if the riders in Huntsville still meet each week? I think I met up with them on a Thursday or Friday, I can't remember which. I do remember we went to a Chinese restaurant. Anyway, if y'all still meet, let me know where and when and I'll stop by for a while. If anyone want to ride some, I'm up for that also.

The Huntsville crowd currently meets at 6:00 pm each Friday night at West End Grill off of Madison Pike just east of Research Park Blvd (This change is due to the recent closing of the Green Hills Grill). Stop by for food and conversation.

A bunch of us will most likely be at the West End Grill around 6ish Friday, and by 7 decide "what's for suppah". Not many riding, since there is a fair bit of drinking going on. We'll look for you.

Get off 565 just east of the space center (you can't miss it!) at the Bob Wallace/Old Madison Pike exit.
Turn left onto Old Madison Pike. About the 4th or 5th light is a shopping center on the right.
(If you hit Research Blvd you went too far) The WEG is down at the "West End" of the shopping center.

I was there a couple of years back. We went to a Chinese place to eat. I had a good time and enjoyed everyone's company. Even that ornery Guzzi rider. I'm pretty sure I'll be there.

Well not many showed up, but at least two of us had a great time. Terese and I had an hour's worth of good conversation. I'm looking forward to seeing her again. I wish more had come, maybe next time. I'll be back in Alabama in December. If I can I'll look y'all up again.

We actually had a good size group last night along with a few of the usual suspects. Sorry I didn"t check here earlier yesterday to let you know. A couple folks we haven't seen in a long time. Former member Ken House was sitting at the bar, unaware that the group was now meeting there. Roger and Iona Ericson came in. They have been scarce since Roger retired and are between adventures. Where but at a Beemer gathering can 2 unconnected people discuss their experiences at Victoria Falls.

Sorry I missed it but since I am new to the forum my post was delayed. But my name is Chris and I live in the Arab/Union Grove area but work in Huntsville right across the street from the back side of the Sam's Club on University.

Just picked up a 2001 K1200RS that only has 12,000 miles on it last Saturday and drove it back from Nashville and didn't realize it at the time but I have a pretty bald back tire so have to get a new one put on soon before I can do much riding. I have one ordered and should be in next week and have a local guy that can install it.

Maybe I can make it next Friday.
