Thurs evening non meeting

Several of us gathered at Zeke's last week and discussed alternative meeting sites. The disruption of traffic on I 65 makes travel to the south difficult. It was suggested that we try new and varied locations to see which were well-attended or we could post and vote after trying a few. Since Motus had attempted a bike night at Lakeview during the Vintage days at Barber's, I suggested "On Tap" in the Lakeview area. It has very good parking and a large selection of beers on tap. I can't speak to the quality of the food. It will be convenient for those downtown or on southside.

At some point I would like to try to support the new Courtyard at the old 29 Dreams site - I personally hope it is a success but am not sure about going out there on Th especially during the dark nights of winter.

Other suggestions?

I just visited On Tap's website and found that they have a Thursday evening pint night special.

Did anyone go to On Tap this Thursday? How was it? Is it a contender? I would have been there, but I was out and about on a quick business trip to Oklahoma. Not too late to go by M/C.

If OnTap is the place to try a second week, I'll do my best to be there on 11/10.

Th at On Tap

Jack and others,

I liked On Tap. It was cool so we sat indoors and it was more crowded than I remembered so I had to park on the street. The beer selection was good and the food was fine too. I liked it but I will be away for the next two Thursdays. I hope others try it or find alternatives. Thursday evenings are a good way for riders to get together during riding months and plan semi-spontaneous weekend excursions.

Okay, I'll try to be there this Thursday. I'll probably get there between 5:30 & 6:00pm. Hope some others see fit to try a new place. Maybe we'll have a good group again, to do a little BS'ing and planning the next few excursions.
