  • Happy New Year

    Hey folks-
Let's celebrate the 2012 New Year together.
Terry's Two Wheel will be serving black-eyed peas for luck, and cornbread for whatever and dessert at the shop, 1057 Commerce Blvd, Pelham, 35124.
We will start the eats at 11am and then if anyone is interested in riding we will do some of that.
Come on a bike or in a car-- just give us email if you think you might come -- we want to have enough and not too much.

New Year Day at Terry's Two Wheel

We are going to have to postpone due to a commitment Terry and I both forgot about.
Thank you Don for offering to supply the roadkill for the peas, that would give it a definite southern flavor.

We will however be having are annual Mardi Gras party.

I have heard that you need to get it early in the morning while it's still fresh and if their eyes are still glassy it's good.

Jim, I heard that you should stop at all road kill when on the way to town and with chalk draw a circle around each one. Then on the way home any road kill without a circle is fresh. I heard this on the cooking channel.

You silly Cajuns......if y'all will just wait a little while till the roadkill has been run over a few times, it will much more tender. Also, waiting allows the meat to age a bit. However, you may have a little competition with the buzzards when you go back to retreive it. Gail
