Rib fest - 2012

Lee and the Nashville BMW Motorcycle Club are hosting Rib Fest again this year (October 18-21). The location is Lee's farm in Centerville, Tennessee. They are limiting registration to 150 folks and request that we pre-register in order to better plan for the food and supply purchases.

This is a fun rally and the location is surrounded by some of the best on road and off road riding in the southeast.

Well we had a good time riding the back roads up there in Centerville thanks to Bob and Phillip for leading us around the area on Friday and Saturday. I think the ribs were better than ever. It was a little chilly after the sun went down but Tommy showed us how to stay warm sitting around the campsite. Thanks to Jim and Russ for the great dinner Friday night and breakfast Friday and Saturday, great omelets in a bag! Here are a few pictures.

Looking at the ribs made me hungry and seeing Tommy (Nanook) gave me shivers again. It was a great time indeed and I look forward to returning next year.

Thanks to Jim and Russ for bringing their cooking gear and providing those excellent meals for us.

Last year Tommy and Jeannine and Suz and I came on our RTs and stayed in a motel and still had a great time. There are beautiful paved roads too. Don't hold back next year!
