Need a break in Meridian? There are two near by Points of Interest you may want to visit. The Causeyville General Store / gristmill, / music museum sells cornmeal and hoop cheese. The museum is free. It is located off highway 19 south, 7 miles and west 5 miles to Causeyville.
The second is General Sam Dale Historical Site. It is 15 mile north on highway 39. Dale County Alabama is also named for the hero of the Creek Indian War and the War of 1812.
