I started a new thread so everyone will notice. It's not too late to make plans to come!!! Even if you didn't make a dinner reservation, you can just order off the menu. There's plenty of camping. And there is awesome riding - both dual sport and street. I will go over all the various riding/eating options on Friday night. This is the best riding we have so close and you don't want to miss out. Just give me a heads up that you are coming. lrainwater@hotmail.com

thanks Lenn...we are looking forward to a great weekend. Looks like the temps will be a bit cooler and the rain chances are even going down! Looking forward to re-filling my "curve quota"!!!!

One more thing.
Mary said that she needs anybody who has a room or cabin reservation to re-confirm with her by calling her at 706-973-1671.

Also, she is starting Friday night steak night this Friday. No reservation necessary.

There is plenty of room for camping if you are able to make it at the last minute. There may even be RVs and rooms available at Skeenah Creek Campground just up the road. And High Valley may even have some cabins available.

We're here. Nice and cool, no rain.Cell and WiFi. Brought camper and bike, no hookups but grassy and level. Bathhouse is wonderful. Kitchen not open til Friday but looking forward to steak night.

Wanted to give heads up about Hwy 180 being repaved and down to one lane passed High Country to Hwy 129. Hopefully, both lanes open Sat and Sun but a mess right now--slow going.

Thank you for the heads-up Martha. I agree, hopefully the road will be open this week end,because I've been looking forward to running Wolf Pen Gap for a long time. I also hope US 19 up Blood Mountain and Richard Russell are in good shape.

We rode Richard Russell, Hwy 19 down to Dahlonega. Other than mowers being out no other road interferences.
