Join us in the search for our lost shaker of salt!
Friday night is adventure night. There are several places nearby Shrimp Basket, Culvers, Slippery Mermaid Sushi Bar, Cactus Flower Cafe, TC’s Front Porch and more or you can drive across the Bridge to Juana’s Pagodas all are good. When you get back you never know, the margarita machine may just be up and running (have to make sure it’s working, Right?)
Saturday morning we will have breakfast (TBD) prior to the ride to Pensacola. Stops include the market in downtown Pensacola on Palafox St., the BMW dealer, the Naval Museum and on the way back, cross over the bridge to Pensacola Beach and have lunch somewhere (Land Shark) then cruise the senic J Earle Bowden Way road along the Gulf Island National Seashore back to Navarre.
Saturday night we will have supper at the campground. Not sure what’s on the menu but Roxanne is cooking, enough said. The club house has been reserved for our use. However, we need to have 12 sites rented to get it free. I told them if by 30 days out we ddin't have the 12 sites we would give up the clubhouse and use my site. It requires a $75 dollar cleaning deposit and Russ will handle that. We’ll have the Margarita machine so bring your ID as We Card! The meeting is as needed and time (TBD).
Sunday morning breakfast (TBD), say your goodbye’s and head home. Checkout time is 11:00am.
Campground rental is on you. If a discount is available we will update this post. Well, I did not get a BMW discount but if you are Retired Military, Fire, Rescue, Police, AAA or Good Sam, put that in your Code box and if it does not accept it put it in the remarks and they will give you the discount you deserve. No Tommy, you can’t double up on discounts.
Tent sites (I did some begging and got them to agree to more than one tent to a site. Here’s the catch, both tents have to fit on the site and they are edged off with landscape timbers. Most sites are 15x12 or so and the family site is 15x20, you could fit 3 tents on their if you are creative. The cost is then split between the tents) they are limited so reserve yours early and don’t forget, if they are out of tent sites buddy-up and get a cabin, cost works out about the same.
RV sites, several to choose from but again, hurry as the snowbirds are still in Florida and they have most of them booked until April 1st. No tents on RV spots, I tried!
Cabins, they sleep 2,4,6,8 or 14. several available go online see what they have and get what you want.
For those who have already booked you more than likely got a call from them on the motorcycle trailer issue. They are looking into where they can put them if not on your site. I volunteered my site as overflow if we need it but they seem to think they can handle it with some shifting.
Website Instructions:
Navigate to Navarre Beach Campground and explore the site. Booking is easy and they are very quick with a response to confirm.
Your Hosts for the weekend are: Russ & Roxanne
We are looking forward to having some fun on the beach!!!
