Join us for our annual trip to the beautiful Blue Ridge Motorcycle Campground operated by our longtime club members Phil & Leslie Johnson. The campground is located between Waynesville, NC and the Blue Ridge Parkway along US 276. Needless to say this is the heart of great riding no matter whether you like on road off road or a combination of both!
Thursday arrivals need to contact Bill Tonkin at billbotoo@comcast.net. Bill is planning to have ham and beans with fried baloney sandwiches byob.
Phillip, owner of the Campground and his wife Leslie will be fixing Trout and some sort of chicken with sides Friday night. The trout will have been swimming Friday morning; Saturday night they will offer their usual fair. No cost for Bill's beans, pay Phillip for suppers Friday and Saturday and any breakfasts and lunches. Coffee and lemonade available at all times, no cost.
No planned rides, but there's all kinds of roads nearby, most of you know the area, so invite members new to the club to join the ride you have planned.
Check out their website and make your camping reservations at www.blueridgemotorcyclecamp.com. Accommodations include plenty of camping and a limited number of cabins. You may want to book early as this is a popular one and they fill cabins quickly!
