As much as I want to, I can't make it to Moundville. I'm so sorry Linda b/c I was really looking forward to it. I have family coming in and want to see them.
I would like to re-trace y'all's (is that a word) route since it sounds like a great one.

Departure time around 9:30 AM from Moundville Archaeological Park.
State Highway 69, south, to Greensboro. Ride through town past the Hale County Court house. We will take Main Street to Highway 14 North. There are several Antebellum homes on Main Street.
We will continue on Highway 14 to Aliceville and should arrive by 11:00 AM.
We can have lunch in Aliceville after the museum tour. There is a small diner next to the museum.
We can decide after lunch if there is any interest in riding on to Carrollton, to see the Pickens County Courthouse. There is a legend of a face in the window. It's only about 10 to 15 minutes from Aliceville.
Bruce and I hope you take this opportunity to see the Camp Aliceville museum. I know you will enjoy the experience.
It was another good meeting! Chad and I rode back throught the forest to Brent and up AL 25 home. He now has about 300 miles riding under his belt including almost 10 miles of FS731....dirt ya'll! We took it slow but he did a ggod job. Stopped for lunch in Montevallo and made it home about 5 minutes before the rain!
Thanks Bruce and Linda! Sorry I missed the ride but the meeting was great!
