  • Moundville Meeting weekend photos

Here are some photos and captions from our ABEES ride to Aliceville and the Club meeting at Moundville.

Linda and Bruce outdid themselves setting up the meeting and our new Road Captain, Linda Cain, lead us on a great group ride. Thanks Linda and Bruce!

Before going home after the meeting, I had another great ride by going on Don Norwood's Heart Run to Fayette which is in the ABEES Travel Guide

Good pictures, Bob... Enjoyed the weekend, Johnny Cash would have loved this place... "I hear the train a coming"

Sorry I didn't get to ride with the group Saturday, I needed to head over to Brookwood for a benefit for the Eldridge Children Home given by the T Chapter in Tuscaloosa of the Goldwing group... I was the only Beemer there, but saw a few Harleys and some cool looking bikes and cars in the car and bike show, a showroom condition Cushman Eagle was my favorite....

I did some good roads from Moundville to Duncanville to Coaling then over to Brookwood, then I headed to Aliceville via US 11 down to 14 and then on to Pickens Co. Courthouse, but missed everybody... I headed out 86 to 82 and then South (63) to cross the Sipsey at Benevola and then back via Gainsville RD.

      Thanks Don.

I had a great time riding your Heart Run in reverse. The folks in Fayette have done an excellent job of restoring their fine old Courthouse.

        Thanks

        Bob,

Thank you for all your input and help with setting up the museum tour.

Your pictures were great. You covered a lot of ground on Sunday, Fayette and Tuscaloosa county.

Your help and complements are appreciated.
