For those going on the cruise,

If you are interested in doing the Trolley Tour Excursion to see Key West, you might want to book it outside of the cruise tour. The cruise tour online information says that their trolley tour does NOT let you get on and off to see things. I don't know why. If you want to book your own Trolley Tour, which is right at the pier, you can get get on and off as you please and get a discount ticket online at

I want to see the Hemingway House and I can either trolley or walk and it's a pretty long walk so I'm going to trolley. BTW, that website also has discount tickets for just about everything else.

The trolley service is excellent. Don't miss going to Mel Fisher's museum. It is exciting to see the treasures that are there. One of the displays has a hole cut in the side of the Plexiglas case into which you can put your hand and lift a large cigar size round of gold. You will probably be amazed with it's weight.

I have hung the Speedo back on the bedpost and have packed sweat pants instead. I have never cruised in winter conditions before. Where is all this cold air coming from? What about global warming?

Throw the speedo in just in case. I've been checking the weather for Key West and it's going to be sunny and in the 70s during the day. Please don't deprive me of the speedo viewing.
