Klassic K - Blue Ridge MC campground

Is anyone going up to the Klassic K rally this weekend?

We won't be there for the K rally but will be arriving there Sunday evening the 12th to spend one night before making our way slowly to the MOA rally.

OK Guys,
For those of you coming up to the rally from BRMC here is an idea. Gator when you said "slowly" make your way I thought of this route. This was intended to be a loop from the rally but you could certainly take in a bit of it on the way up! Check out this thread on the MOA forum for more information if you do not use a Garming GPS. If you do, here is the route!

Of course the I-26 route is a really nice ride too. But...watch coming down the hill into Erwin when you are going Northbound. The speed limit is 55 and they watch it closely!

Vance, Wanda and I will be riding with five others from La. Wanda and I are leaving early Friday morning and plan on staying in Fort Payne that night. Saturday we are going to meet up with the other five at Deals Gap for the night , then ride a lot of back roads Sunday making our way to the BRMC that evening. Monday we're going to start heading up into Virginia and will meander around there untill Wednesday afternoon when we'll arrive at the rally to register. Wanda and I have both volunteered for shifts at the rally. Thanks for the suggestion on the route but we'll just be trying as many roads as possible with our crew untill Wednesday. See ya'll in J.C. It was good to meet you at Deals Gap. We left there and after a night in Bryson City spent two incredible days on the Blue Ridge Parkway ending eventually in Boone, NC. Just got home last night. What a ride!
