Then head over to Oak Mountain State Park for the monthly Camp out and dinner provided by Connie and company.
The camp out has been moved to the KOA Campground in Pelham. This is on Cr-33 just off of Cr-52 and Exit 242 on I-65.

I have attached a couple of suggested rides for Saturday. Both leave T4wheels. One will return to T4wheels. The second will end at the KOA campground. Both are about three hour rides that take some of the best roads in the area, including Indian Crest Dr, Sicard Hollow Road, Hwy 25 and Cr-55.

There is a file for down loading to your gps. I also have written directions.

If you are a morning person, Terry & Joan will see you off about 9:00 AM and the red beans & rice will be ready when you return. Or you could leave after lunch and get to the campground in plenty of time for the cook out.

    Enjoy the rides!!!

      Hey Martin.

Thanks for posting and leading these good rides. Looks like you have stitched together the best of the best roads in North Shelby County.

Martin, I know that the campground used to be a KOA but if it is the one I remember it is not listed in the KOA directory or on their website. Do you have a phone number for them if I would like to reserve an RV hookup? Your assistance will be appreciated.

Jim, here is the information on the campground. They have changed their name and are not associated with KOA any longer. They are still accepting any KOA discounts or cards. So the lady there told me.
