  • Riding this weekend - Forrest, South of Tuscaloosa

    Hi all,

my name is Alex from Tuscaloosa. I am new to the Forum and also pretty new to Alabama.
I came with my wife last year in July from Germany. I got myself a 09 R1200GSA and did some nice rides through your beautiful countryside. I am mostly exploring in the National Forrest down 82.
For this weekend (sun) I want to go "scouting" again. I put his track together. Some of of it I rode already, a lot will be new.
Mostly Dirt and Gravel roads, nothing serious. If there is somebody free this weekend and willing to join, pls come. Always good to meet new people...especially on BMW's " ;-)

    Cheers, Alex

        Hi Alex.

When you have the details, let me know. I'm about an hour away.

I noticed on my MapSource software that there is a Mapco station at the I20/69 exit, and will stop there to top off my fuel. Can you meet me there?

Please email me with your cell number. I am in the club directory.

        Cheers

            Alex.

I got your email and responded. Glad to know there is a Shell station there. I look forward to seeing you at the Shell at 7:30 am this Sunday. I will be on my black R100GSPDC. I will upload your route to my GPS.
