Martin, I may be able to make this one too. Sounds like fun! I was by the Sawmeal just the other day and thinking it had been a while! I hope to see you at Joe's...

              Good call Martin.

The Sawmeal's food offerings are excellent and the fried chicken may be as good as what the Tallasee Hotel offered.

Your route was excellent. I had no idea there were roads of that quality in centras west Alabama.

Thanks Martin for putting this ride together for us. Paul & I had a great ride to and from, and really enjoyed visiting with everyone. The food was good too! GailDSC00002.jpgDSC00003.jpgDSC00004.jpgDSC00005.jpgDSC00006.jpg

Wow thanks for the pictures, I am in Florida taking care of my mom while my sister is on vacation. The last time I was at the Sawmeal was when Martin still had his first R100R and the transmission went out on the way down or back I can't remember the details. I do remember that it got totaled during a test ride by the dealer after the repairs. Glad to hear the chicken has enough MSG for Bob's taste buds.

Gail, great to see you and Paul along with Bob and Norwood yesterday. Once again Martin planned a fantastic ride for those of us coming from the Pelham area. Like Bob says, I think Martin has ridden roads in AL that haven't been built yet! We even got in a couple stretches of really nice dirt on this ride! Thanks for putting it all together Martin and let's do it again soon! Here are my few pics...

The weather cooperated with just a drizzle. Good roads, good food, good conversation. Thanks for all the nice words. And yes Vance, we will do it again.
