  • Ride to Eat - Saturday, Dec 15th

    Where: Big Daddy's BBQ, Warrior, AL N33 49.043 W86 48.480
    Time: Meet about noon

Terry's Two Wheel will have coffee and donuts about 8:30 am for those that would like to meet and ride together. I have planned a rambling ride through North Jefferson and part of Walker counties to get to Big Daddy's by lunch time. Ride will leave @ 9:00 am.

Reply to this post if you plan to meet at Terry's. He would like to have enough donuts for everyone.

    See you Saturday

Vance, here is what I ordered:

8:00 am 49 degrees 10% chance of rain
9:00 am 52 degrees 0% chance of rain
10:00 am 55 degrees 0% chance of rain
11:00 am 59 degrees 10% chance of rain
12:00 am 62 degrees 10% chance of rain
01:00 am 64 degrees 10% chance of rain
02:00 am 65 degrees 10% chance of rain

Looks like the weather is cooperating for us to have a good ride. Come and joins us. What can be better, hot coffee & donuts and then those great "ribs" at Big Daddy's.

Thanks for leading a great ride today Martin! It amazes me how many great roads there in the wilds of Jefferson and Walker counties. The order you placed for the weather was awesome as well. Picked up several riders along the way and upon our arrival at Big Daddy's in Warrior we found Paul & Gail along with Norwood saving our seats for us. Fun times, good food and comedy provided for us by Big Daddy himself!

That bunch of Alabeemers look almost as good as that pile of ribs. Now I'm really sorry I couldn't be there.

Thanks for organizing your Ride to Eat adventure Martin. It was good to ride new roads in our neck of the woods, and to enjoy riding and having lunch with great friends.

Thanks also to Gail and Vance for these excellent photos.
