Who's Riding To Cruso?

Just wondering who was headed up and when. I plan to leave the Bham area on Friday morning at like 6 or 7 and ride the "two lanes" up to Cruso. My route will go through the northwest corner of GA and on up to Ocoee. From there I plan to ride TN 30 & TN 315 to Tellico and across the Cherohala. Ride NC 28 through Fontana to Bryson City and up to Waynesville and out US276 to the campground. This route takes 'bout all day but is a really fun ride.

Anyone else want to ride along?

Me and Linda , planing on heading out from t town early Thursday morning. Taking mainly back roads and getting at blue ridge late in the afternoon.

Vance, thank you for your post. I am also going to Cruso Friday morning and my route is very close to yours. Because I haven't ridden to Mtn. Cove Farm Valley this year, I'm going to ride there on the way. If you are willing to alter your route a bit, you and other Alabeemers please join me at the Valleydale/I65 Hardee's for breakfast. We will head to Cruso at 6:30 via slab to Reece City, then backroads through Collinsville, Sand Rock, Mtn. Cove Farms Valley, Ringgold, Tenga, Reliance, Cheorhala to Robbinsville, Waynesville to Cruso. (372 miles - est. time 9 1/2 hrs). We will have lunch and and a fuel stop in Ringgold (170 miles) and the last fuel stop in Waynesville at US 23, exit 98 (185 miles).

When I figure out to attach the GPS file and XL route sheet, I'll post it here. Help Gail .

sounds like a great ride Bob. I have talked with Timeneaux Flynn and he is planning to ride as well. So he and I will see you at Hardee's for a 6:30 departure Friday morning. Looking forward to it...got to get me some Mountain Cove Farms Valley!

Great, I look forward to you and Touring Tim joining the ride to Blue Ridge CG. David Hogg will join us at the Collinsville Jacik's till Mountain Cove Farms. He will then return home.
I haven't talked to Tater Boy about his plans yet, but will.

I still can't attach the files, but will keep trying.
