  • ALABEEMERS 2ND Saturday Ride To Eat

    Martin Benson will lead us for a great ride, our first Club 2nd Saturday Ride To Eat, to the Vault Cafe & Bakery in Hackleburg, Alabama, Saturday, March 12, 2016. There is an Arby's across the road from the Chevron starting point if you want to have breakfast prior to leaving at 8 am sharp with empty bladders and full tanks. Riders not meeting us at the Chevron can join us along the way or meet us at the Vault Cafe. Martin made a reservation for 20 people and it would help him to let us know here if you will be there.

    2nd Saturday RTE

    March 12, 2016

    Lunch will be at "The Vault Bakery" in Hackleburg, AL (Map). The bakery has made the list of "10 Amazing Hidden Restaurants in Alabama".

    There will be a group ride from the Birmingham area. This ride will start the the Chevron station on Morgan Road at Exit #6 on I-459 in Bessemer.

    The ride will leave at 8:00 am.

              Vance, good question. Martin made the plan, so I'm thinking there is a Chevron there. That said, I'll make sure.

                The BP station is now a Chevron. On this corner is the Chevron, CVS, McDonald's. See you Saturday.

                              man you guys beat me to it....it was a great ride today. The Vault is a very unique place and my Reuben was awesome! I split from the group on the way home and dropped by to see Gene in Nauvoo. He is doing well and I enjoyed visiting with him. He was a very sick man but seems to be doing well. He asked me to tell everyone hello and he misses seeing us.

                              Great to have Jeff and Bill... two new riders with us today. thanks to Bob Steber and Martin Benson for putting this together....awesome day...here are my pics;
