On Fridays, the North Alabama MOAL members are invited to 'The Nook' for Barley Therapy. T'was a slow nite at the venue this evening, but we had 11 partners for pre-Christmas lubrication. Last nite, we made our first visit to the new 'Back Forty Brewery' in Huntsville. [good grub & great beer in a large, boisterous warehouse-type environment; https://www.backfortybeer.com/copy-of-birmingham ]. -- Here's hoping all y'all have a splendid Christmas weekend.
We're planning a LROTY jaunt next weekend. The Iron Butt folks sometimes would rendezvous near Bay Minette for their "Last Ride of The Year" in years past. Don't see much interest online this December. We, Team-HSV, are pondering a long day's ride down to Pensacola for a brief New Year's getaway and to add "2023 miles" to our BMW log-books. We've enjoyed this eatery in years past [ Goat Lips Chew & Brew [ N30° 31.714' W87° 12.278' ]. Might should go investigate again. Another juke joint worth considering is McGuires Irish Pub/restaurant [ N30° 25.077' W87° 12.110' ]. Happy Holidays to all y'all North 'Merican BMW and AlaBeemer motorists from Team-HSV.
