Our June meeting is back at Blue Ridge Campground in Cruso, NC. There are great roads to be ridden in the area.
I am attaching a couple of enjoyable rides that I have taken. The shorter ride takes you through Brevard, NC. The longer ride goes on US 178 through Rossman and then on 215 back to the Parkway.
There are two attractions on these rides that are interesting. The first that you will encounter is the "world's largest granite tombstone". This is the grave of the McCrary brothers.

I had the opportunity to see these guys ride their bikes in a parade years ago. Learn more about them at:
The second attraction is the home of Carl Sandburg. Learn more about him at: http://www.nps.gov/carl/
Last year I took Bob's ride Cedar Bluff to Blueridge Motorcycle Camp Ground via the Cherahala Parkway. This was a very enjoyable ride. It is also included.
