      Something Positive

Pops opened his eyes about an hour ago. The first really good step forward we have seen. No significant change other than that. We remain hopeful that they will get him off the respirator soon, but are unsure of exactly when that will happen. As always we continue to be bolstered by everyone's thoughts and prayers!

            He is awake!

Pops is awake when we go in to visit him which is really good. They are trying to get him off the respirator, but it is slow going. We are hopeful that each day will bring positive new changes.

All nine of his grandkids have come to visit him this morning and they are excited to see their PawPaw! I know he will enjoy seeing them as well.

As always thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers. Moms is grateful for everyones's love and support!

                Thank you Jack.

This is good news which has uplifted my spirits greatly. I'll wager his seeing his nine grandkids uplifted his spirits too.

I have not been to the forums for a while. I hate to hear about Ron and Justin. Our prayers are out to both of these guys. Hope to hear that Ron is talking and feeling better soon.

Ron , you're in my thoughts and prayers , Buddy. Hang in there and get well soon. Family , I know he's gonna come out of this latest adventure just fine. He's a tough old paratrooper.

Great news! Carolyn just called with a good report.

Ron is off the breathing machine and talking. He remembers seeing the deer and everything.

They are going to keep him in ICU another day for observation.
