Mari & Vance,
We have been praying for you all weekend and we are saddened to get home and read all the post about Naomi's decline. angie will be going to the church prayer meeting tonight and she will bring up Naomi's needs.
If we can do anything else please let us know.
It seems that Naomi has made it another day. But in answer to the question "will she get well?", the doctor said today "probably not". She had another of those very slight improvements today, but the last three were followed by sharp declines too.
So bless Mari and all her sisters and brothers and family, and Vance, for the roller coaster of emotions they are having to go through right now.
Not only with Naomi, but Vance's father had major surgery to remove his bladder on Monday. So please include him and Vance's brothers and family in your prayers.
Mari and Vance have more than anyone should have to deal with, going on at once right now.
Naomi passed away last night at 10:25 peacefully. Mari and I want to thank everyone for all the thoughts, prayers and contacts everyone made during this tough time.
We very much appreciate the way our club accepted Naomi and I can tell you she appreciated it as well. She always looked forward to visiting with us and you guys and had a blast doing it. There are not many mother-in-laws I know of that would ride, camp and cruise like Naomi would. She was a great person and enjoyed life until the end. I can only hope we all get the opportunity to do the same!
The family is doing well. Naomi's request was for cremation so we are planning a memorial service in her home town Greenville, IL on Thanksgiving weekend there.
Thanks again to everyone...we will all miss her!

I may not be here for a long time...but I am here for a good time!
So sorry to hear of Naomi's passing. She sure was a firecracker (according to my Dad, that's a high honor) and will be missed by many. Be safe during your trip up to Illinois. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to hear of Mom's passing. Wanda & I were praying for the best but knew it probably was not to be. She was a dear lady who enjoyed life. She will be missed by all who knew her.
