AccuWeather has for Dec 30th, cloudy with high of 46, Stockton partly cloudy and 53 high. Looks like it might turn out to be a good day to ride.

I plan to lead a ride leaving from the Jack's at Jemison (I-65, exit 219). We will to leave at 8:00 AM. If you need gas there is a Shell station across from Jacks. We will take Alabama back roads to Stockton: CR 42, AL 191, AL 22, AL 41, CR 39, US 84, CR 1 & AL 59.

Return ride will be decided at lunch.

Have a merry Christmas and I will see you on the 30th.

Weather.Com's report for the 30th isn't so rosy. Birmingham's forecast is for 60% chance of rain, Selma's showing 50% chance, Stockton 10%. Temps are looking nice, tho', so we'll keep hoping the weather guessers will miss it on the wet stuff, but get the temps right.

I can take cold, I can take wet, but I hate wet/cold! I'm still planning on making the trek. But we'll see!

If any riders from the "north" are planning to make this ride and need a place to lay your head the night before, I can make some room at my house. May have to sleep on the floor but we do have indoor plumbing

Well, it seems that in typical AL fashion the forecast is bouncing around a bit. But right now it looks like a warm day with maybe a little rain...or not. Hmmm...maybe I will check it again in a half hour or so....lol....

Let us know if you are "thinking" about this ride...It would be interesting to see how many definate maybes we have!

If it ain't raining @ 7:00am, I'll be heading towards Jack's. Right now, the weather-guessers are predicting 50/50 chances for rain on Thursday @ 7:00am, both here & at Stockton.
