I just received this from the guy in MS that sponsors this event. I know Jim K, Russ Kruse and Sam Peacock can add some more information if anyone has any questions! They are veterans of last year's event!!
The 20th annual. The Real! The Original!, FACOWIE-FROZENWHITEBOY winter camp-out will take place the weekend of January 14-17 at Paul B. Johnson State Park, just south of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Cost is $13 per night camping fee. The campsite is the primitive camping area of the park. Hot showers and restrooms are within a few hundred feet of the tenting area. Gas, beer and food are available 3 miles away. Better food and booze are 5 and 10 miles away. Campsite is lakeside if fishing is an interest. There are several curvy and nice back roads nearby. We always have a good fire and plenty wood for the weekend; food is on your own. Fire walking is optional.
Traditionally this is not a family affair (i.e. no children), but is meant to be a worry free gathering of "Mountain Men and Women" riders for a cold weather, primitive style camp out. Despite the name this camp out is open to all civilized adult riders and all are welcome. For more information and/or directions, call at 601-307-2088 or email SSNOD@yahoo.com
