March Meeting - Nauvoo

[Wrong Way]

Had a great time at Nauvoo this last weekend. In the build up to the meeting we neglected to tell everyone about the Norfork Southern wake up call at 03:00, and snooze function that did it again at 04:30, and the final call at 06:30. :-))

Got back to Creola around 01:15 pm.

I'd like to thank Bob for putting this together. Gene was AWESOME!! It takes a lot of heart to do what he's done. I'd vote for a repeat visit next year!

Gene and Earlene are great people and a rare find. They really came through for us and have indicated that they would like for us to come back any time. Gene really meant it when he said that he would welcome any of us any time we would like to pay them a visit.

Great pics Vance, thought I was watching and old Hells Angels movie where they took over the town. Looks like ya'll had a lot of fun. Wish we could have been there.

Vance, Wanda and I are going to the Dogwood Rally. We're leaving Friday when Wanda gets off work at 11:30 A.M. We have a reservation at a small motel about two miles from the rally. I hope ya'll can make it.

Here's my Nauvoo picsl Not many of them, and most of them of the town itself, the back of the hotel and outbuildings,and the campground. Several shots are in a sequence that I plan to use my "stitch" program to turn into a long wide photo (hence the sky pics) so if you scroll real fast it'll be like a flip book. (grin)
