Just don't go up there and get him laughing, that sure would hurt with them broken ribs!

Wanda and I are just back home from our trip out west yesterday evening and just finished catching up on things around home. First time on the computor in around three weeks. We learned of Eric's accident last week from Jamie while we were in Cody, Wy. We were sad to hear what had happened. We hope everything is going well with his healing and surgeries and hope he recovers soon and completely. Wishing you all the best "Peanut". Heal quickly friend.

Erik's wrist surgery is taking place today...finally! If all goes well he may be moved to Huntsville on Wednesday. Those details are not known to me at this time but we will update here as they are made available.

As a result of waiting so long, there is a great deal of pain from the wrist surgery. Pain control efforts are probably going to delay transfer to Huntsville until Thursday. The location is going to be "Whitesburg", of which there are 2 facilities, both at the same address. One the "Garden" and the other the "Manor". Stay tuned for specifics, street and phone numbers. It is centrally located right off Whitesburg Dr, easy to find. As of last notification, the scum runner is still running.

We just got off the phone with Eric and Jennifer. The transfer is on for tomorrow morning. The place: Whitesburg Garden @ 105 Teakwood Dr. Huntsville, AL 35801. ( phone # to follow) Eric asked for no visitors until the weekend and please call to see if he is up for it before arriving. It is going to take him a day or two to get settled and work out a routine with the staff. There is a bit less pain in the wrist right now and the move itself will take a lot out of him. The plan is to be there for 2-3 months before moving up to aggressive rehab. It's going to be a long haul.

                      Erik,
I have been following the post and I am praying for you. I mentioned you for special prayers at our Sunday School Class and during prayer time in the worship service. I will be over to see you in HSV once the dust settles and you feel up to visitors.

                              Hi All,

This is the first time I have been free enough with everything going on to get on the computer. I appreciate all of the prayers and well wishes. I really can use them at this time. 1st day of physical therapy consisted on sitting up on the edge of my bed with help. I currently have three non-load bearing limbs. Left arm is perfect. On the plus side I am alive which Is a blessing. I need a few days to understand the routine - but it looks like a lot of my activity is going to be in the morning. So afternoons after this Friday should be open if you want to come by.
